“Amour”

February 18th, 2011

The gorgeous couple, Sarah and Casey entered the beautiful Fairmont Miramar Hotel while surrounded by white and ivory balloons. Quite an entrance! The reception was set under the Fairmont’s huge fig tree. The abundance of white florals and candles including French themed table names adorned the family style setting. Two massive chalkboards replicating a French bistro, revealed the evening’s menu. The signature cocktail, Moscow Mules in copper cups were a guest favorite! Everyone danced the night away under the white lights while Patrick Holland of David Michael Photography captured the lovely images.

A Perfect Fall Themed Wedding

November 29th, 2010

They hunted high and low to find the right venue for their wedding and the Crosby was it! It set the scene for their intimate, detailed wedding.  Janette wore her grandmother’s wedding gown and her grandmother was there to see her walk down the aisle! (what a sentimental moment) Guests were greeted by signs made by Janette’s mom that pointed out to guests where to go. At the ceremony, guests could take a shawl to keep warm. The aisle was made out of fall leaves and adorned with lanterns glowing with candles. Janette’s mom painted the thumb print tree which guests enjoyed signing their name around. Each of the guests names were printed and stuck onto window panes, that Janette had collected.  Recipes were shared, as the cake, was grandma’s famous carrot cake. Yummy treats were also set out for guests to take throughout the evening, of course, recipes from both grandmas. What a gorgeous evening this was, just perfect for a fall themed wedding. The fireplace was certainly cozy too! Jason Ward did a wonderful job making sure he captured each and every detail.

Winter in July

November 29th, 2010

Arleen and Christian dreamed of a wedding in Whistler, Canada so we created a local Winter Wonderland at the elegant US Grant! The Presidential Ballroom sparkled from afar with the crystallized branches and illuminating décor. The magical evening was a non-stop celebration ending with Arleen’s surprise Hula Dance dedicated to her groom. Thank you to the super star Michael Svoboda of True Photography for the amazing images!

Tropical Paradise

Terry and Joey are such an adorable couple! Being around them for a few minutes, you couldn’t help but see the love between them! They decided to marry at the tropical Paradise Point on a warm, sunny day. Terry is an amazing graphic designer and made all the printed items for her wedding. It all turned out so creatively! Thank you Erin for capturing the beauty and emotion of the day.

Grand Del Mar

November 17th, 2010

Julia and Peter fell madly in love with the Grand Del Mar on a visit to San Diego. They brought out all of their closest family and friends to celebrate with them. Since, they met on a plane, the travel theme was carried throughout the day with fun luggage tags and ipod favors, vintage suitcase displays and a whimsical “stamped” cake. The magical evening was topped off with an entrance and exit on a horse and carriage ride around the lavish property! Jennifer Dery truly captured the exquisite love that these two share and all of the beautiful details.
