The ultimate in romance, Kevin proposed to Kelsey in the midst of a huge candlelit heart on a sandy beach. We were thrilled when Kelsey invited us to help her plan her unique wedding in gorgeous plums and moss greens. Estancia La Jolla was the perfect venue to create their magical evening. The couple was married under a beautiful hydrangea-drenched grapevine canopy in the Estancia garden. As we partnered with Jan, mother of the bride, every detail was designed and completed. From glowing balls of woven lights to a ceiling draped in creamy soft fabric, each element added to the natural ambience. We knew the guests would arrive thirsty on this warm summer day, so we created a festive purple drink, decorated with a candied purple fruit slice and playful straw. Leaf name cards and table numbers enriched the woodsy, yet elegant theme. The perfect, refreshing touch to a lovely summer wedding, Pink Berry Frozen Yogurt was the couple’s dessert choice for their guests, with a small, marzipan-leafed cake for the traditional cake cutting ceremony. El Nino showed it’s face on Trisha and Michael’s wedding day, but they weren’t going to let that spoil their special day. They enjoyed every moment with great anticipation and joy! The ceremony was moved inside at Estancia La Jolla, which made for an intimate affair with hanging candles and warm shawls. The reception was a hit with dancing all night long! We added some comfortable furniture just in case any guests needed a little break. Trisha and Michael didn’t want a traditional wedding cake, so they opted for cupcakes, yet they had a smaller cake to cut. We created a menu that went along with each cupcake to indicate what flavor it was. Pretty fun! Dean Barker with Paul Barnett captured the lovely photos. gina (with a lower case g) and Jonathon were such a delightful couple. They were excited and very calm on their wedding day. We were honored to have the opportunity to assist them with the final details of their wedding. They married at the beautiful Estancia La Jolla where Botanica created a romantic, candle lit ceremony out of wax vessels. The ballroom was also lit with hanging candles and orchids around the base, giving the room a natural and minimalistic look. Concepts Party Rentals draped each table with Olive lamour linens while traditional jordan almonds lay inside the moss colored box set on each charger plate. Michele did a fabulous chocolate cake that all the guests enjoyed. TLS provided all the lovely photos.

Kristine and Kevin were fabulous clients; organized, tasteful and attractive. Their wedding was simple and elegant at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. From the classical guitarist to all the candles displayed on the hutch inside the ballroom, the guest’s experience was quite delightful. We did a unique configuration of tables in the Grande Room. Instead of round tables, we used long rectangular tables, which gave the room a more contemporary feel, yet still keeping with the simplicity and natural look of Estancia. Splendid Sentiments did a nice job on the florals (clean and fresh) and Patrick captured it all wonderfully. Congrats Kristine and Kevin!

Katie and Tavis are from opposite coasts but a match made in heaven! These two lovebirds couldn’t keep their eyes off each other during the entire planning process! Lavendar, deep purples and breathtaking orchids with natural elements set the setting at Estancia La Jolla. We had organic touches of locally grown plants, plantable seed programs and recycled welcome bags to keep in sync with the couple’s love for the environment. The hit of the evening was Joes on the Nose, delivering their organic lattes served in heart swirls. Thank you to Annette Gomez for the beautiful decor and to Rebecca Seal for capturing the amazing day!

Elisabeth and Dave are such a beautiful couple! Always gracious and appreciative, the two are a wonderful pair. We created a romantic theme with mocha and blush with added touches of champagne, butter creams and crystals. Not only did we have the ever exquisite Estancia La Jolla as the backdrop, but Annette Gomez did her signature style of perfection. We added a few surprises with Elisabeth changing into her 2nd wedding gown, to dance her Manolo Blahnik heels off to NRG’s fabulous tunes. Another yummy surprise was the popcorn station. To capture every last detail was our one and only Garrett Photography and Jason Taylor Films. What a gorgeous wedding!
