As the rain poured down on Tanya and Tucker’s special day at Estancia La Jolla, they were cheerful, with a contagious optimism as we switched to the backup plan, moving the ceremony in doors. In a candlelit, petal-strewn setting, surrounded by their closest family and friends they were joyfully married. As their guests gathered around a large rectangular table for the reception, they were serenaded by a talented guitarist. Since Tanya loved owls, the décor included owls hanging down the backs of the couple’s chairs, as well as topping their wedding cake. The unplanned turn of events (surprisingly) brought a warm, cozy intimacy to their celebration, making it even more memorable on this rainy day. Thank you True Photography for all the lovely photos.
